Obtaining email addresses for cold emailing is not that hard as you think. Here are a few useful methods and tips to find email addresses:
- Company websites: Visit the websites of the companies or organizations you are targeting. Often, you can find contact information, including email addresses, on their “Contact” or “About” pages. The only drawback in that case is that you will mostly find general emails (sales,info, support etc).
- LinkedIn: LinkedIn is a professional networking platform where individuals often list their email addresses in their profiles. Connect with relevant professionals and check if they have made their email addresses visible. If they haven’t made it public, you can use a scraper like leadhype, snov.io or hunter to get the emails.
- Industry directories: Look for industry-specific directories or websites that provide contact information for businesses or professionals in your target market. These directories may list email addresses or provide contact forms for inquiries. Yellowpages is a popular directory and can help you find lots of leads for your cold emailing.
- Publicly available sources: Search for press releases, blog posts, or news articles related to the companies or individuals you want to contact. Sometimes, these sources include email addresses that you can use for your cold outreach.
- Conferences and events: Attend relevant conferences, trade shows, or networking events in your industry. Collect business cards or contact information from individuals you meet who may be interested in your offering.
